IV INTERNATIONAL
CLARINET COMPETITION
The Galicia Clarinet Fest announces the IV International Galicia Clarinet Fest Competition 2026, which will take place on August 8, 2026, at the Auditorium of Lalín (Pontevedra), within the framework of the festival held from August 2 to 9, 2026.
The competition aims to promote young talent, encourage excellence in performance, and offer artistic opportunities to clarinetists with national and international projection.
PARTICIPANTS AND CATEGORIES
The competition is open to clarinetists of any nationality.
Three categories are established:
CATEGORY A
Up to 35 years old (inclusive) by the application deadline (July 30, 2026).
Two modalities are established within this category (participants may enter both):
- Clarinet
- Bass Clarinet
CATEGORY B
Up to 22 years old (inclusive) by the application deadline (July 30, 2026).
CATEGORY C
Up to 16 years old (inclusive) by the application deadline (July 30, 2026).
