Academy of
Galicia Clarinet Fest 2024

The Academy offers content with which students, professional clarinetists and amateurs can perfect their training, taught by teachers who hold positions in prestigious orchestras and universities around the world.
The Academy offers individual classes with:
José F. Ballester, Arno Peters, Tibor Reman, Selin Gürol, Juan Ferrer, Michelle Anderson, Emilio Espasandín, David Griffits, Deborah Andrus, Lorenzo Coppola, José Luis Estellés, Vítor Matos, Joâo Pedro Santos and Xocas Meijide.
Also workshops with Selin Gürol, Xocas Meijide and Adrián Vilaboa.

Some of the classes will have piano accompaniment by specialists in the clarinet repertoire, and it is possible to take bass, historical or refined clarinet classes.
Michelle Anderson and Debbie Andrus will teach C clarinet training for amateurs.

Registration Galicia Clarinet Fest

  1. Complete the registration form to make the payment of the sign of €150. The remaining amount of the registration fee will be paid upon arrival at the Galicia Clarinet Fest.
  2. The selection of students will be by order of enrollment and by curriculum.
  3. Students may indicate their preference for teachers, although the organization may reassign them if there is no place due to registration and curriculum.
  4. Students who are not interested in the teaching staff proposed by the organization may withdraw and their registration will be returned.
  5. Students will indicate whether they want to participate in the Galicia Clarinet Ensemble.
  6. Individual lessons can be combined between Clarinet teachers and those of Requinto, Bass Clarinet or Historic Clarinet.
  7. Only one lesson can be taken with each teacher, except for Historical Clarinet, Quinto and Bass Clarinet students who can receive an additional one.
  8. It will be taken into account that not all the teaching staff are on the same dates, which can directly influence the enrollment.
  9. The registration fee will only be refunded if the student has to cancel their participation due to illness, important personal reasons or force majeure.
  10. In the case of students with commitments already acquired during the dates of the Academy, attempts will be made as far as possible to adapt the classes to their availability.
  11. There will be 2 types of group discount:
    • From 6 to 9 members: 10% of the registration fee
    • From 10 to 14 members: 15% of the registration fee
    • 15 or more members: 20% of the registration fee

    The name of the group must be indicated on the registration form.

  12. Active students and listening students with a full pass (€100) of the Galicia Clarinet Fest will have free access to all its activities:
    • Entrance to all the concerts of the Festival.
    • All-access ticket for all Congress activities (lectures, concerts, presentations, exhibitions, product testing, etc.)
  13. Active students can also participate free of charge in the II International Orchestra Competition .
  14. Active students will be able to access all Academy classes as listeners.
  15. The registration deadline for active students will be Friday, July 5.
