CONCERT CYCLE
As in previous editions, the Galicia Clarinet Fest will offer a varied program of concerts throughout the entire week of the festival, with the aim of bringing music closer to all audiences and highlighting the work of the participating students and teachers.
The daily concert schedule will continue at 1:00 p.m. These recitals will be held in Praza das Pipas, consolidating this space as a musical meeting point in the heart of Lalín.
In addition, this year there will be concerts at 7:00 p.m., where the faculty will take center stage in chamber music concerts.
The main concerts of the festival will be at 8:30 p.m., taking place at the Lalín Auditorium or the Praza das Pipas.
We will have the world premiere of the electroacoustic music show with Video Art, Camiño ó Infinito-Ride to Infinity by Xocas Meijide .
Likewise, symphonic and large-format concerts will be held, with the Municipal Band of A Coruña performing on Wednesday the 5th and the concert of the Royal Philharmonic of Galicia , scheduled for the 7th in the Tuno Valdés Room of the Lalín Auditorium .
The closing concert of the festival’s Clarinet Orchestra will be conducted by José Franch Ballester .
NEW
JAZZ NIGHT CYCLE
As a great novelty of this edition, the festival presents a new space dedicated to jazz and improvisation, under the provisional title of “Jazz Nights in Lalín” .
Within this jazz program, we will have 2 afternoon concerts in Praza das Pipas at 8:30 p.m., on Tuesday and Thursday .
In addition, from 11:45 p.m., we will have concerts on Friday and Saturday.
This new format seeks to expand the musical offer of the festival, encouraging the interaction between styles and creating a relaxed atmosphere for the night audience.
Concert Programming
The Galicia Clarinet Fest 2026 will have a complementary artistic program of an international nature that will accompany the academic and competitive development of the festival, offering a diverse musical proposal of a high interpretative level.
The festival will officially begin on August 2, 2026 with the welcome concert by the Galicia Clarinet Ensemble.
Student Concerts
From August 3 to 8 , student concerts will be held daily at 1:00 p.m. in Praza das Pipas , with the aim of energizing the city’s cultural life and offering students a stage experience open to the public.
These concerts will constitute a fundamental part of the pedagogical spirit of the festival, bringing music closer to citizens and promoting the artistic projection of the participants.

Piano recitals
On August 4, 5 and 6, piano recitals will be held in the afternoon.
These recitals will be performed by guest teachers and festival artists, consolidating the chamber dimension of the event.

Concerts at 8:30 p.m.
The main cycle of concerts will take place daily at 8:30 p.m., according to the following program:
August 3 – Inaugural concert “Camiño ao Infinito”, a video art and electroacoustic show with Xocas Meijide, at the Lalín Auditorium.
August 4 – Jazz concert by Mery Lafuente & the Syncopated Man.
August 5 – Concert by the A Coruña Municipal Band with Wolfgang Puntas and Manuel Martínez as soloists, at the Praza das Pipas.
August 6 – Jazz concert by Nani García’s Trio with Ricardo Formoso as soloist.
August 7 – Concert by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of Galicia with Sergio Pires and Shirley Brill as soloists, at the Lalín Auditorium.
August 8 – Closing concert by the Festival Clarinet Orchestra, conducted by José Franch Ballester.
All these concerts will be held at 8:30 p.m., thus consolidating a benchmark cycle of symphonic and chamber music within the region’s cultural program.
